While this website is mostly to house my pet projects, I thought I should dedicate the front page to telling you a bit more about me. My name, of course, is Rachel Gustafson. I'm currently in my senior year at the University of Texas at Austin.

 

I grew up near Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Texas during elementary school. I became interested in the web in Junior High and started creating websites dealing with my interests. When it was time to go to college, I followed my passion in technology and began studying Computer Science.

 

I've worked at Microsoft, Cisco Systems, and Google, and through those experiences I have discovered that I love being part of a large company doing enormous things. I absolutely love the internet and its capabilities to reach everyone, not only at their desks but also while they are on the go. I hoped to work at a company that lets me create or improve a product that reaches millions through the web, and I should be able to do that at my new job at Google.
